Am Tag der Immunologie präsentieren junge Wissenschaftler der Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) und des Uniklinikums Erlangen allgemeinverständlich die Geheimnisse der menschlichen Abwehr gegen Krankheitserreger. \nHier können sich Interessierte und insbesondere Kinder nicht nur über Themen wie Infektion und Impfung informieren\, sondern an Mitmach-Stationen selbst entdecken\, wie das Immunsystem den menschlichen Körper gegen Eindringlinge von außen verteidigt. \nDie Abteilung für Molekulare Immunologie an der Medizinischen Klinik 3 des Universitätsklinikums Erlangen\, das Graduiertenkolleg 1660 „Schlüsselsignale der adaptiven Immunantwort“ und das Integrierte Graduiertenkolleg des Transregio 130 „B-cells and beyond“ (Leiter Prof. Dr. Hans-Martin Jäck) organisieren wie schon in den Vorjahren den diesjährigen Tag der Immunologie. \nZiel des europaweiten Tags der Immunologie ist\, das Augenmerk der Entscheidungsträger aus Wissenschaft und Forschung auf dieses für die Volksgesundheit so wichtige Fachgebiet innerhalb der Medizin und Biologie zu lenken. SUMMARY:1st B Cell Winter School
DESCRIPTION:The annual B cell winter school of the IRTG TRR130 is a 5-3-day long research retreat. It gives the PhD students the possibility to present and critically discuss their thesis projects and is one of the most important intercity activities. The meeting serves predominantly as a research-in-progress platform for PhD students. However each winter school is complemented by lectures on the most important concepts in B cell immunology and related topics by external speakers and TRR130 members.
